View of the Raleigh skyline from inside the Amtrak passenger car as we pulled up on Sunday night. I was with my girlfriend, Jennifer, who writes about the train ride on the Raleigh Public Record.

I have never taken the train to Charlotte, but if the trip becomes shorter – and a little cheaper, unless I am going by myself – then I might consider it.
As for the photo, I like the angle from the Amtrak station, although the skyline feels a little “empty”. The new Justice Center will definitely fill the gap from this angle, but we need to get some skyscrapers between the new convention center and the county jail. Then, the Amtrak station angle will look fantastic!!!
Thanks for sharing the photo, Leo.
