If you were curious as to how the construction on the Omni Hotel was progressing I hate to say it but it’s still just a huge hole in the ground. The site has definitely been active this Summer and maybe we’ll see a second crane go up soon (leftmost portion of the above photo) so there’s no reason to think they are slowing down.

The Omni Hotel released a video on YouTube that is a must watch. The video teases all the amenities that the hotel will have and it certainly looks impressive, by Raleigh-standards anyway. I’ll be honest, I’ll probably never use any of them except for a day pass to the rooftop pool.
