The banners are down and construction barriers are up around the upcoming L Building. The L building project goes as far back as the summer of 2007, starting out as an office tower and now planned to be apartments.
Construction should start very soon.

Also, the old buildings have been demolished on Hillsborough Street across from Cup A Joe to being the construction of the Stanhope project. Hillsborough Street will be closed during Christmas to allow water and sewer access connections.
