The last building that is still standing in the way of the future Green Square project is currently coming down. Here are some photos from today’s demolition occurring on Jones St.
Are they growing grass where the old NCDOT building stood across the street?

Nice to see those eyesores are down. Let’s see how long it takes them to break ground on this project (or will this be another parking lot, which we (still)have too many of in downtown Raleigh)
To your little caption regarding grass: Hopefully, they are.
Reason: to stabilize dirt from running off every time it rains, until the new construction is in place there.
