We are so, so close to the opening of one of downtown’s newest hotels. In a way, it’ll be two hotels as we’re getting two brands under one roof in the Homewood Suites and Tempo both by Hilton. The lobby looks real good and you can already make a reservation.

Situated one block from the convention center, the 270 hotel rooms will hopefully be booked quite often whenever events take place. The hotel is also in between Fayetteville Street and the Warehouse District so visitors to Raleigh staying here are in a pretty good location for easy walks to area restaurants. The Red Hat Amphitheater will also be very close.

Now if we can just get a signature restaurant across the street in The L as that corner space has been empty for almost 10 years now.
