For the crane fans out there, a new one has sprouted over at the future Civic Tower as part of the city’s Municipal Campus across from Nash Square. The upcoming 300+ foot tower will definitely add some urban presence to Hargett Street and the square as the city consolidates its offices into one location.
The entire block is considered part of the campus and the future of the current in-use Raleigh Municipal Building and parking deck are TBD. I guess for now, they still have some life left in them so why not use them until further notice.
