The old North Carolina Administration building is currently being demolished over on Jones Street. It’s certainly not an implosion kind of thing but a slow “chipping away at it” process as it’s easily been over a week, maybe two, and they are only about halfway through. It’ll certainly open things up a bit on Jones once finished.

The work taking place on this block is part of the State Government’s North Carolina Education Campus. Most of the block is still a big hole so on our next update, hopefully we’ll be able to see something more in place. If you have anything left to say to the NC Admin building, make time to get down there and do what you need to do before it’s gone.
