Capital Square is now Maeve

Capital Square, now called Maeve Raleigh, is looking like one of the nicer apartment buildings to be built in downtown Raleigh of this decade, I’m thinking. Since we last checked in, the windows are all in place, the tower crane is gone, and the parking deck is getting the finishing touches.

Their website lists the building to be move-in ready by Spring 2025 so seems like a lot of work is still needed on the inside. The building will have over 290 homes just on the outskirts of downtown. I wonder if there would be interest in developing on the empty lots near the Western Boulevard bridge because residents at the Maeve who decide to walk south are probably in for a surprise.
