Just like last year, Moore Square will be the stage for a handful of cinematic experiences this summer. When the sun sets, bring your favorite lounge chair or blanket to this free event. You can look forward to a new movie every other Saturday. Here are the movie listings and dates.

Nice! Close Encounters is a CLASSIC movie to get to watch in an outdoor setting. Definitely putting that one on my calendar.
Is this happening again this year?
According to the theater’s website, it is. I cannot find a listing of the dates and movies, however. I heard that it was starting again today (Memorial Day weekend).
What theatre would that be? Will be a sad turnout if this is Downtowners’ only source of info for the entire event ;-)
I have not heard anything about movies in Moore Square this summer. I am interested in going out to the NC Museum of Art and seeing some of their movies. Check the list of movies at the link below. Could be cool, I’ve never done this.
