Pic of the Week

Photo of Raleigh City Hall, April 2026

From the outside, the City of Raleigh’s new City Hall looks just about complete. However, the real work is taking place on the inside as walls are put up, doors installed, and stair railings are put into place. That’s all according to the city’s ongoing update page which you can see here. I recommend it if you are interested in this project.

The page says the project is 67% complete so there’s quite a lot to do still to get it ready for move-in sometime next year. I think that also means Hargett Street will remain closed (for west-bound traffic) for a bit longer. Still, it’s looking pretty nice from the outside in my opinion.
