Did you catch the announcement about Garden West? The new renovation project taking place at the former Raleigh Crossfit, located at 15 North West Street, will be transformed into new restaurant space. This project looks particularly interesting as I see the former parking lot turned into a vast outdoor patio. The renderings really sell this thing.

York Properties is delivering this project and the details come straight from their website.
Key Project Highlights:
• Located next to the Powerhouse Square parking deck
• Transforming 10,000 sq ft with potential for 2-3 restaurant spaces
• Creating a unique outdoor patio with 20 guest seating spots
• Anticipated restaurant openings by fall 2025
OK, so there actually is more parking nearby as the Powerhouse Square deck actually had extra floors added to it when the 400H project was under construction. Either way, this is a fantastic use of the space as it’s location sits in between Glenwood South and the Warehouse District. You also get a little seclusion as the little bit of trees nearby kind of shield it from Edenton Street.
I think this is pretty exciting and if they land some great eats inside, this could be home run!
