Pic of the Week

We haven’t checked in on the project called Oldham & Worth since April and in just a few months, it has really popped up. The units facing the platform at Raleigh Union Station are topping out and you can see it in the photo above. All of these West End projects are giving that area a vibrant feel and I hope that translates to equally vibrant street life in the near future.

There are still plenty more homes to put together facing Cabarrus Street but I predict that Oldham & Worth should be opening in 2026. That’ll bring about 250 more homes to the downtown area as well as plenty of new neighbors. I’m hoping this makes a good impression on visitors to Raleigh coming through our train station. It always helps to see vibrant buildings and a place that looks active rather than the more industrial (I mean actual industrial uses versus renovated spaces) look we had back in the 2010s.
