Oldham & Worth is looking so close to being finished. At least on the outside. The sidewalks are being put in place and trees have been planted. We even have a sign! I’m also a fan of that brick look. (wish there was more of it) It’s a nice look that blends the modern with the warhouse district and “railyard” theme. I feel I’m stretching on that a bit but at least they tried. I’ll buy it!

2026 should definitely see the opening of Oldham & Worth, the apartment building showing off some brick over on West Cabarrus Street. That’ll be another 250 homes on the edge of downtown which will continue to help increase the downtown resident population. This location is pretty stellar as you are a few blocks from all kinds of interesting things.

Construction continues to chug along over on West Cabarrus Street. The apartment building called Oldham and Worth, part of what the developer is now calling the West End, has all filled in and parts of the exterior are now being put in place. I’m hoping with the next update, we can start to see the street-facing façade as the renderings show a pretty cool warehouse, industrial look to it. I can get into that if it’s not too cheap looking.

We haven’t checked in on the project called Oldham & Worth since April and in just a few months, it has really popped up. The units facing the platform at Raleigh Union Station are topping out and you can see it in the photo above. All of these West End projects are giving that area a vibrant feel and I hope that translates to equally vibrant street life in the near future.

Oldham & Worth is starting to rise out of the ground. This is probably downtown Raleigh’s signature 2026 residential project as it will deliver around 250 houses next to an already built-out are in The Platform. Did you know the people behind this are trying to dub the area as West End Raleigh?

The sibling project, already completed, is shown in the background, The Platform, which together make what Kane Realty is trying to brand as the West End Neighborhood.
