The Alexan apartments, with homes facing West Street and Harrington Streets, look to be almost topped out. You can really get a sense of the change this new building adds to these streets, change that was once a surface parking lot with narrow sidewalks. No more.

By no means are there expectations for an architectural marvel here but this new building does add around 185 homes to an already resident-heavy area of downtown. Glenwood South continues to be the place for the most urban residents and West Street is a neighborhood onto itself.
