  1. Thanks for the pics, Leo!!! I really wanted to go, as it coincided with the Home Tour, but I had other commitments and missed this great opportunity :( Artsplosure is definitely a great event for families. I am not much into arts, but I do appreciate the event and the exhibits!!!

  2. I enjoy walking Artsplosure, but after all these years still do not know how to manage logistics. We parked the car, my girls wanted something to drink, we walked up to our first food stand (which was the first booth as we entered the event) and they were out of ice tea, at 4:00 p.m. on the first day of the event, customer service continues to be awful at this event. Other than that, it’s nice, but getting very predictable (nothing new and same layout – mix it up).

  3. I did the Downtown home tour, too. Had to pass right through the Artsplosure crowds to get to some of the sites. Looks like everybody was having a swell time. This is to anonymous re: the food vendors: I know whatcha mean! If you go next year, do what I did for lunch and go around the corner to Clyde Cooper’s on Davie St. for some authentic Eastern North Carolina ‘cue!
    Great pix Leo, as always!
