Richmond seems much larger than Raleigh but I think Raleigh is bigger. Maybe its because there is more of a walk able downtown?

Nice words about downtown. But, do not want to hear about dollars, economy, etc. This topic is very embarrassing to our citizens and visitors to our downtown.
When are they going to have ALL the same sidewalks in downtown Raleigh? The sidewalks and streets are laughable. Different looking sidewalks, not wide enough and uneven sidewalks everywhere. This is a long overdue issue. Have been here for decades, never have seen all the sidewalks uniform and rarely see work on them (sad to say, little boring Birmingham, AL has beuatiful sidewalks and streets)
